The answer is YES! And here's how
First, you need to make sure that your business has a ‘Power Only’ Trailer listed in your assets. If not, let's help you create one quickly.
- Log in to TrueTMS on the web application. On the menu on the left of your home screen under the Other section, click on ‘Trailers’
- Once the Trailers page opens, select ‘New Trailer’ from the top right.
- Complete the details required making sure you select ‘Power only’ under Trailer type.
- Don't forget to click ‘Save’
Now that you have a Power Only Trailer listed, you can successfully assign a power only load.
- Open the power only load you are wanting to assign and select ‘Assign’ from the top right.
- The system will conveniently alert you to the fact that this is a power only load and therefore you need only assign the driver and the tractor.
- Once assigned, select ‘Validate’ to save.
It is important to remember that when a power only load is created, you would need to select ‘Power only’(b) on the Trailer requirements page (page 2 when creating a load)
