Setting up a billing rule for a customer
- To access TrueTMS on the web application, begin by logging in. Then, navigate to the menu on the left side of your home screen and locate the 'Customers' option found under the Other section. Click on it. From the list that appears, select the customer you wish to add a billing rule for.
- To add a billing rule, go to the top menu and select 'Billing' (a). Then, click on the (+) button to add either a 'Line haul Billing Rule' (b) or an 'Accessorial Billing Rule' (c).
NOTE: You can add numerous ‘Line haul billing rules‘ as well as ‘Accessorial billing rules’ however it is important to note that these rules are applied in the order that they are listed. You can reorder the rules by dragging the handle on the left of the rule (image below) Also see:
CHANGE LIST ORDER OF BILLING RULES - The billing rule that corresponds to the load will be shown in the 'Charges' section of that specific load - as depicted in image 1 below as well as on the invoice - as shown in image 2 below.
